We are looking for a talented data visualization specialist / graphic designer to lead the visual experience for our client-focused output, which includes text- and data-heavy reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating clean, modern page layouts with a high comfort level presenting data in a clear, compelling way. This person will support a team of smart, hard-working analysts and editors, and should be team-oriented, communicative and responsible.

 

Responsibilities

• Primary point person for report layout using InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel and ThinkCell in accordance with company templates.
• Collaborate with editors and analysts on data visualization / infographics, with an emphasis on accuracy/clarity, clean, modern aesthetics and innovative/impactful presentation.
• Conceptualize new report templates across different media (desktop, mobile, print).
• Lead company website re-design across desktop and mobile platforms.

 

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a graphic/visual designer or data visualization specialist.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, particularly InDesign, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
• Background in presenting comprehensive data sets in a compelling way is strongly desired; professional experience in impactful text layout for publication is a plus.
• Highly detail-oriented, able to multi-task effectively with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, good team player.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Experience in building websites (creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps) a competitive advantage.
• Experience working with ThinkCell or other charting software a plus.
